When you sign in with LinkedIn, we collect your name, email address, profile picture, and LinkedIn member ID solely to authenticate your account and enable posting to your feed.
We do not collect passwords. Authentication is handled entirely through LinkedIn's OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect flow.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Account creation & authentication — to identify you across sessions.
- Content publishing — to post content to your LinkedIn feed only when you explicitly click "Post to LinkedIn."
- Content generation — your name and basic profile info may be used to personalise generated posts.
- Personalised experience — we use your profile information (such as your industry, role, skills, and interests) to tailor your news feed, surface relevant trending topics, and suggest content themes that match your professional background.
3. What We Never Do
- We never post on your behalf without your explicit action.
- We never send DMs, connection requests, or interact with other profiles.
- We never sell, share, or rent your personal data to third parties.
- We never store your LinkedIn access token beyond your active session.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in an encrypted database on secured servers. Session tokens are stored as HTTP-only secure cookies and are never exposed to client-side JavaScript.
We retain your data only as long as your account is active. You can request full deletion at any time.
5. Third-Party Services
We integrate with the following services:
- LinkedIn API — for authentication and content posting.
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — for generating content. No personally identifiable information is sent to AI models beyond what is needed for content generation.
6. Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, or advertising cookies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
- Disconnect your LinkedIn account at any time via Settings.
